Vulcan 24S-4B Description
The Vulcan 24S-4B gas range offers a direct heat to the cooking instruments with four 30,000 BTU, open top burners. A shrouded flash tube pilot system uses two pilots to light the four burners, reducing gas use and saving energy. The 12-inch by 121⁄2-inch front grates can be lifted off to make it simple to clean and service. To accommodate large pots and pans, the rear grates measure 12 inches wide by 141⁄2 inches deep. Heat is accurately directed to the pots and pans by integrated aeration bowls. There is a pull-out crumb tray with an extra-deep design and welded corners.
Since the oven in the Vulcan 24S-4B gas range’s base has a heavy-duty door construction, it can be used in commercial establishments. The interior measures 201⁄4 inches wide by 261⁄4 inches deep by 14 inches tall so full-size sheet pans fit front to back on the two oven racks. Adjusting to four positions, the racks provide a variety of cooking options. There is a temperature range of 200 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit, and a low setting for cooking delicate products.
